Steven Hoyer Assoc. Pastor of Student Ministry Steven came to Glenview in May 2009 as the Middle School Minister. He recently was a Youth Intern at Graceland Baptist Church in New Albany Indiana since August 2006. Steven graduated from the University of North Texas in August 2006 with a BA in Communication Studies and earned a Masters in Youth Ministry from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY in December 2008. Steven has a joy and passion to challenge and help students to glorify God with all that they are and do. You can find out more about Steven on Facebook Stephen Shields Assoc. Pastor of Middle School Ministry Stephen has been involved in youth ministry for over 4 years. He served as both a volunteer and interim youth minister at Richland Hills Baptist Church. He is currently a senior at Arlington Baptist College where he will graduate from in May with a Bachelor of Science in Bible-General Studies. When he is not serving his students he enjoys watching movies and sports and hangs out with his friends and family.

These small groups meet at 9:23am on Sunday mornings. Students spend time knowing God more in the Bible and encouraging each other. After Life Groups, all students attend the 10:50am worship service. Middle School: Start in Room 215  

DNOW A weekend in the spring where students stay in host homes, grow through small groups, and worship God  through song and teaching in The Loft at the church. Camp We go to Student Life Camp each summer. Students get away from normal schedules to spend time knowing God more, worshipping Him, and playing awesome games. Mission Trips Each summer we have mission trips for both Middle School and High School. Middle School serves in Texas, while the High School serves in a state outside of Texas. The High School students can also serve on an international mission trip during the summer with the adults of  Glenview Baptist Church. Fall Retreat Happens every year in November and is designed for students who want to go to the next level in their leadership abilities…whether that’s in church, at school, on a sports team, or wherever you have influence Service Projects These projects happen a few times each semester, normally on a Saturday. We will go and serve the local community. Community These events happen a few times each semester. They are times to hang out with other students your age and have fun! Things like Christmas parties, scavenger hunts, paintball, movie nights, bowling, water games, and sand volleyball.
